Impact @UofT

The Impact @U of T Working Group builds aims to build meaningful engagement between law students and the broader Toronto community. The group works to organize volunteer opportunities that allow groups of students to contribute beyond the classroom while building a culture of service and social responsibility.

2025-2026 Members: Ethan Kibel, Melanie Mah, Chelsea Musanhu, Angelina Siew


Security Working Group

The Security Working Group includes both SLS and non-SLS students. It is focused on outlining and addressing student safety concerns within the law school by advocating for stronger reporting mechanisms, clearer follow-up processes, and enhanced security measures. In response to recent safety-related incidents, the group has been actively engaged in discussions around implementing stronger to promote a safer environment.

Student Support Group

The Student Support Working Group focuses on supporting students succeed in law school by identifying gaps in support for students facing challenges. The group has developed recommendations aimed at improving accessibility, strengthening academic resources, and promoting student wellbeing to ensure all students have the tools they need to succeed.

Food Guide

The Food Guide Working Group is committed to improving student access to affordable and convenient food options around campus. The group researches and curates a guide highlighting budget-friendly choices, with particular attention to locations that are open late and accessible to law students with demanding schedules.
